David Cathcart

David Cathcart has had a long and successful career in the active lifestyle industry. David began their career in 1999 as a Manager at DC Sports Management. In 2002, they joined Saris Cycling Group as the Vice President of Sales, and in 2012, they moved to Garneau as the Executive Leader of Sales & Marketing. In 2018, they began working as a Consultant to active lifestyle companies on their Go-To-Market strategy in the Canadian market and in the US bike, outdoor, and sporting goods market. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief Commercial Officer of Rocky Mountain.

David Cathcart's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University, which they attended from 1997 to 1999. David then attended Concordia University from 1999 to 2001 without obtaining a degree. In 2019, they obtained six certifications from LinkedIn, including Becoming Head of Sales: Developing Your Playbook, HR and Digital Transformation, Learn LinkedIn Sales Navigator (2018), Sales Operations, Sales: Customer Success, and The Importance of Purpose in the Workplace.
