Derek Newton

Derek Newton has been working in the industry since 2001. Derek began as President/Owner of Gravity Sales, LLC. In 2003, they became a Sales Representative for GU Energy Labs / Sport Street Marketing. Derek then moved on to become a Sales Representative for Pearl Izumi in 2005, as well as a Territory Manager for Kaenon Polarized Eyewear. In 2004, they took on the role of Territory Sales Manager for Highway 2. Derek then became a Territory Manager for SRAM Corporation in 2011, followed by a Territory Manager for Felt Bicycles in 2009, and a Territory Sales Representative for Rocky Mountain Bicycles in 2012. Most recently, in 2014, they became a Territory Sales Representative for POC, and in 2017, they founded Inspired Van, a Sprinter van conversion upfitter based in Teton Valley specializing in modular gear and people hauling solutions.

Derek Newton attended the University of Vermont from 1989-1991, studying Ski Area Management and Small Business. Derek also attended Stratton Mtn School in 1989-1990.
