Robert Andress is an experienced conservation professional currently serving as the Southwest Lands Program Manager at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation since September 2019, where responsibilities include land protection, project management, and fundraising across multiple states. Prior to this role, Robert owned Gradient, LLC, overseeing natural resource projects and habitat restoration from 2010 to 2019. Robert's earlier experience includes serving as a Project Manager and Restoration Scientist at Otis Bay Ecological Consultants, focusing on aquatic habitat restoration (2003 to 2010), and working as a Hydrogeologist at MWH, specializing in soil and groundwater investigations for RCRA and CERCLA sites (1999 to 2003). Robert holds a Master's degree in Hydrogeology from Iowa State University and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Augustana College.
