Monique R. Sherman

Monique R. Sherman currently serves as the Managing Attorney for the Detention Program at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network since June 2022. Prior to this role, Monique held the position of Pro Bono Counsel at Cooley LLP from January 2012 to May 2022, where responsibilities included maintaining and developing pro bono resources for attorneys and providing technical assistance on pro bono matters. Monique also worked as a Child Advocate Attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia from November 2007 to January 2012, representing abused and neglected children in court. Earlier experience includes a Staff Attorney role at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley and an Associate position at Cooley LLP. Monique earned a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.
