Mark Dyson

Mark Dyson is an accomplished energy professional with extensive experience in resource planning, risk analytics, and renewable energy integration. Since September 2014, Mark has held various leadership roles at RMI, advancing from Manager to Managing Director. Prior to RMI, Mark served as a Senior Energy Analyst at Ascend Analytics, focusing on major utility projects across the United States. Earlier experience includes research positions at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where Mark contributed to modeling tools and renewable energy strategies. Mark's career began as an Analyst at Rocky Mountain Institute and as a Research Associate in Geology at Carleton College. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Geology from Carleton College and a Master of Science in Energy and Resources from UC Berkeley.
