Thomas Koch Blank

Thomas Koch Blank is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the clean energy sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at RMI since October 2015, Thomas co-leads the global Climate Aligned Industry program, focusing on hydrogen utilization in various industries such as steel and shipping. Previously, Thomas held the position of Senior Principal at RMI, where responsibilities included leading the Global Breakthrough Technology Program and the Industry Program, aimed at developing carbon and energy transition strategies. Prior to RMI, Thomas contributed as an Expert Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, specializing in energy topics within basic materials industries, and served as an Advisory Board Member for Greentech Media. Thomas holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has conducted research at the Royal Institute of Technology.
