Ellie Pokress is a dedicated educator with experience in various teaching roles, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Rocky Mountain Prep since July 2024, following a position as a Sixth Grade World Studies Teacher at the same institution. Prior to these roles, Ellie worked as a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education and was an Implementation Coordinator for the Botvin LifeSkills Training Program at the University of Colorado Boulder, where management of the program spanned over 20 schools across three states. Additional experience includes administrative support and training as a Program Assistant at University Recreation and Wellness, and roles in education and research at the University of Maryland and other organizations. Ellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Maryland and is pursuing Alternative Licensure in Special Education and Teaching at the University of Colorado Denver.
