Tyler Wortman

Vice President Operations at Rocky Mountain Wireline Service

Tyler Wortman has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Tyler started their career in 1999 at Webb Crane Inc., where they worked as a Rigger/ Apprentice operator, responsible for selecting and placing rigging for various loads. Tyler then joined the United States Marine Corps in 2002 as a Counter Battery Radar Tech, where they detected enemy indirect fire positions and coordinated counter artillery fire. In 2006, they joined Rocky Mountain Wireline Service as a Pipe Recovery Engineer, assisting in the recovery of stuck drill pipe and downhole tools. Tyler worked in this role until 2013 when they transitioned to Oxy as a Well Site Manager, supervising operations on site for production. In 2015, Tyler became the owner of QC Custom Welding, followed by Quarter circle consulting LLC. in 2013, where they served as the owner. In 2020, they returned to Rocky Mountain Wireline Service as an Operations Manager and eventually became the Vice President of Operations in 2022. Throughout their career, Tyler has demonstrated strong leadership skills and proficiency in operations management.

Tyler Wortman has a High School Diploma from Fruita Monument High School, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Tyler also has a NCCCO certification in Large hydraulic crane operation from Crane tech, earned in 2010 and 2011. In addition, Tyler attended Field artillery school in 2003 and 2004, where they studied Counter battery radar and artillery fire.
