Meghan Loury

Americorps Grants Manager at Rocky Mountain Youth Corps

Meghan found her way to Rocky Mountain Youth Corps in the summer of 2019 as an Assistant Crew Leader for the conservation corps. She loves RMYC because her two passions of growing community and nature melded into her everyday work here. Her interest in nature started in the foothills of Colorado where she grew up frolicking in the prairies and skiing in the mountains. Meghan spent time as an Environmental Educator, on the trail crew at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, as a ski rental technician, and helped the city of Portland, Maine start the Portland Youth Corps. When not at work, you can find her hiking or backpacking with friends, practicing her birding skills, and doing random art projects. She is stoked to be back at RMYC to help young people find their community and passions in the outdoors.
