Sara Bullock has extensive experience in the hospitality and food service industry, currently serving as a Server at Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack since November 2020. Previously, Sara held the role of Director of Catering at Chick-fil-A-Franchise, where responsibilities included identifying and pursuing catering opportunities and maintaining systems for order accuracy. Experience also includes positions as Dining Room Supervisor at Biltmore, Sales and Events Coordinator and Service Captain at Tupelo Honey, Assistant Restaurant Manager at JJ's Market and Delicatessen, and Telesales Representative at Verizon. Earlier career roles included serving as a Catering Sales Executive and Server/Bartender/Host at various establishments. Sara holds a degree in Event Management from Valencia College, earned between 2012 and 2016.

At Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack, we pay homage to “Nashville style” hot chicken and southern soul food. We prepare our unique fried chicken to order and it all starts as “Plain.” From there we can add the spice from mild to extra hot (lots of folk just love it without the spice). We take pride in being one of Asheville’s locally owned, independent restaurants. We source quality and local ingredients for the classic American recipes that we make from scratch daily. Our birds are naturally raised for superior quality and flavor.
