Toby Hijzen

Toby Hijzen is a Computer Vision Software Engineer at ROCSYS since November 2020, with a comprehensive background in software development for robotics and autonomous systems. Prior to this role, Toby served as a Localization & Perception Engineer at Jonker-Makis Robotics and as a Software Engineer at Robot Care Systems bv, focusing on localization software, hardware integration, and advanced computer vision for healthcare robotics. Additionally, Toby has experience in machine vision at CINOPTICS and augmented reality development at TU Delft during a master’s thesis in Artificial Intelligence. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Physics from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
