Linda Sturm-Flores is a research associate at the Rodale Institute, specializing in organic and regenerative agriculture practices for specialty and row crops since October 2020. Previously, Linda served as a Trainer/Gardener III at SSC Services for Education from November 2016 to March 2022, focusing on landscape design and organic weed control while also providing safety training in horticulture. Additional experience includes roles as a college composition tutor at Blinn College and a research assistant in soil microbiology at Texas A&M University. Linda has held leadership positions, notably as the executive director of Health For All, Inc. and as an agricultural safety and health officer with the North Carolina Department of Labor. Linda holds a B.S. in Biology from the College of William and Mary, a Master of Science in Agronomy from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Science in Forestry and Ecology from North Carolina State University.
