Saad Idrees Choudhry

Saad Idrees Choudhry is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Systems Architect at Rodan Energy Solutions Inc. since November 2024. Previously, Saad held the position of Automation Engineer at SunGrid, where responsibilities included leading the deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and designing HMI and SCADA systems. Saad's experience also encompasses roles in IT and logistics at Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario, IT consulting at the University of Windsor, and IT support at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Early career experience includes positions as a Trainee Engineer at Waves Pakistan and an Electrical Engineering Intern at Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited. Saad holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
