Alex Mbithi (CPA)

Alex Mbithi is a certified CPA with extensive experience in finance management and administration within international organizations focused on humanitarian work. Currently serving as the Finance and Administration Team Lead for the Africa Region at the Norwegian Red Cross since October 2019, Alex has demonstrated exceptional communication and analytical skills. Prior roles include Senior Finance and Admin Coordinator for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, where Alex managed finance operations in disaster-stricken regions, such as during Cyclones Kenneth and Idai in Mozambique. Additional experience includes serving as Regional Projects Accountant at AMREF Health Africa in Kenya and financial leadership roles at Protel Studios Ltd and Kibo Slopes Safaris E.A. Ltd. Alex holds a CPA, along with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting and Finance from Strathmore University.
