Marte Fremstedal

Marte Fremstedal has a diverse work experience, starting in 2003 as a Protection Officer at UNHCR. Marte then joined the Norwegian Red Cross in 2008, initially as a Programme Coordinator until 2010. From 2011 to 2016, they served as the Deputy/Acting Head of Programmes. Marte then took on the role of Head of Finance and Administration from 2016 to 2018. Marte Fremstedal was promoted to the position of Head of Finance and Grants in March 2018, and then briefly served as the Interim International Director from March to June 2021.

Marte Fremstedal holds a Master's degree in Development Studies, which was obtained from the University of East Anglia. This degree was acquired from 1999 to 2000.
