Godelieve Emmerik

Godelieve Emmerik has a diverse work experience in various legal and managerial roles. Godelieve is currently the Head of Legal Affairs at Rode Kruis Nederland starting from December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Legal Affairs, Head of Sustainable Supply Chain & CSR, and Head of Real Estate at Unlimited Footwear Group from November 2018 to December 2022. Godelieve also worked as an Attorney at Law and Partner at ISRAELS VAN KESSEL ADVOCATEN & ADVISEURS for a significant duration from 2006 to 2022. Godelieve has prior experience as a Real Estate Associate and Legal Counsel at Houlihan Lawrence Commercial Group from 2002 to 2006 and as a Product & Brand Manager and Legal Counsel at High Fashion Europe B.V. / V.B.S. Netherlands B.V. from 1994 to 1997. Godelieve's early career includes a role as a Productmanager at Stone Fashion from 1992 to 1994.

Godelieve Emmerik completed their education at various prestigious academic institutions. Godelieve obtained a Master's degree in Nederlands recht and Bedrijfsrecht (Business Law) from Leiden University. Later, they pursued further studies at the LSE Department of Statistics, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Godelieve also attended the Yale School of Management, specializing in Corporate Sustainability Management. Additionally, they completed a Postgraduate Specialization in Employment Law at Leiden University. Furthermore, Godelieve acquired a New York State Real Estate License in New York, NY, USA. Godelieve began their educational journey at Hoogveld College in 's-Hertogenbosch, where they obtained an Atheneum degree.
