Liesbet van Gaever

Liesbet Van Gaever has extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Liesbet joined Rode Kruis Nederland in 2021 as the Head of Organisational and Financial Sustainability. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2022, they worked for Het Nederlandse Rode Kruis as the Head of the Strategic Partnership Unit. Before joining Het Nederlandse Rode Kruis, Liesbet worked at Stichting tegen Kanker from 2010 to 2015, where they held various managerial roles in Regiocoördinatie and Relay for Life. Liesbet started their career at Rode Kruis Vlaanderen in 2007 as a Young Graduate, later becoming the Diensthoofd Zorgbib.

Liesbet Van Gaever completed their education at two universities. From 2003 to 2007, they studied at KU Leuven, obtaining a Master's degree in Medical Social Sciences. Later, from 2008 to 2012, they attended Heriot-Watt University, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration.
