Robert Kent (MCIPS)

Robert Kent (MCIPS) has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Robert started their career as a Chemical Process Operator at GSK, where they worked from 1997 to 2000.

Following this, Robert joined Rodenstock Group in 2001 and held various roles within the company. Robert began as a Team Leader & SMC Technician, where they motivated and developed team members to achieve monthly targets. In this role, they also implemented standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency in the production lab.

After their role as Team Leader, Robert became the Materials and Logistics Manager at Rodenstock Group. In this position, they were responsible for purchasing, sourcing, warehousing, transport, and distribution. Robert worked closely with stakeholders and selected suppliers to improve operations and reduce costs. Additionally, they provided leadership for the purchasing department and ensured adherence to operational procedures.

Later, Robert served as the Production Manager at Rodenstock Group. Robert managed and directed production processes to increase cost savings, quality, yields, output, and efficiency. Robert also planned, organized, supervised, and implemented manufacturing procedures in accordance with quality assurance methods and organizational strategies.

Currently, Robert is the Operations Director at Rodenstock Group. Robert'sresponsibilities include managing and directing operational processes, production, warehouse, dispatch, order entry, technical services, supply chain and logistics, facilities, and Health & Safety. Robert leads and manages a team of 33 across all streams. Furthermore, they are involved in end-to-end staff management, including recruitment, job description definition, appraisals, individual KPIs, performance management, and training.
