Röhm’s business activities are split into two business segments, Upstream and Downstream. The Bulk Monomers business unit forms the Upstream segment, while the Downstream segment comprises the four business units Molding Compounds, Methacrylate Resins, Acrylic Products and CyPlus Technologies.

Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) products from Röhm are sold on the European, Asian, African and Australian continent under the registered trademark PLEXIGLAS®, in the Americas under the registered trademark ACRYLITE®.

The Supply Chain Management team at Röhm is responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable flow of raw materials, products, and information within the company’s integrated production network. The team works closely with suppliers and production sites to optimize procurement, manage regional supply chains, and support the distribution of methacrylate products such as PLEXIGLAS® and ACRYLITE®. Their combined expertise in category management, sourcing, and technical procurement facilitates seamless operations and responsiveness to market changes.
