Roger L. Martin, Inc.

Roger L. Martin, Inc. (“RLMI”) is a strategic advisory firm built around the works and writings of Roger L. Martin. Since 1981, Martin has been advising executives on strategy. For over a decade, he was one of the leaders of Monitor Company, a strategy consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and was responsible for creating many of the tools and frameworks still used today by the successor firm, Monitor Deloitte. Martin is a prolific author having published 12 books and over 350 magazine and newspaper articles, and economic reports. His most well-known book, Playing to Win (Harvard Business Review Press, 2013) was co-authored with former Procter & Gamble CEO A.G. Lafley and introduced a model for strategy that has become one of the most used in the world today. Martin also published best-selling books on integrative thinking (The Opposable Mind – HBRP 2007) and business design (The Design of Business – HBRP 2009). The RLMI practice utilizes a proprietary combination of Playing to Win strategy, integrative thinking and business design to provide advice to CEOs of a number of the world’s largest companies and industry leaders.
