Chris Aybar

Chris Aybar has worked in the software engineering industry since 1994. Chris began their career at Kingsley Research Inc. as a Technical Support/Web Programmer, where they worked on a web development project under the supervision of Samuel J. Kingsley, Ph.D. In 2000, they joined Kestrel Technologies, Inc. as a Technical Support/Web Programmer, where they supported mission-critical applications in production, staging, and development environments. In 2004, they moved to Imerica Life and Health Insurance Company as a Web/Applications Programmer/Analyst, where they designed a set of real-time quoting web services and re-engineered Imerica's desktop software quoting application. In 2006, they joined HealthPlan Services as a Web Application Developer, where they co-developed DynaForms, a dynamic form application system driven by metadata. In 2007, they joined American Select as a Web/Applications Programmer/Analyst, where they provided ongoing maintenance and support while enhancing the online quoting infrastructure and electronic application submission subsystem. In 2008, they joined Roger West as the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Information Technology. Finally, in 2022, they joined Refynd as a Partner - IT Director.

Chris Aybar attended Pace University from 1994 to 1995, where they studied Computer Science. Chris then attended Brooklyn College from 1995 to 2001, also studying Computer Science.
