Sarah Mamula currently serves as a Vice President for Government Affairs at the Bank Policy Institute (BPI), a nonpartisan public policy, research and advocacy group, that represents the nation’s leading banks. In this role, she engages Congress on a diverse set of policy issues, including cybersecurity, digital assets, data privacy, intellectual property and other FinTech-related matters. Previously, Ms. Mamula served in a chief of staff capacity for BPI, where she aided in operationalizing leadership directives and ensured information flow across departments to maximize BPI advocacy efforts.
Prior to joining BPI, Ms. Mamula served as Senior Director for the DC-based strategic and fundraising consulting firm, Helen Milby & Company. There, she managed all internal and external operations for the Global Women’s Innovation Network (GlobalWIN), a bipartisan nonprofit focused on providing a forum for women in the public and private sectors to contribute to key policy debates and gain access to career development programming. While at Helen Milby & Company, Ms. Mamula also contributed to large-scale efforts for the New Democrat Coalition Action Fund and NewDEAL Leaders.
Ms. Mamula received a M.A. in international affairs from George Washington University. She completed her undergraduate work at Roger Williams University, receiving a B.A. in media communications and political science.
