Jon D Ness

Jon Ness, PE, is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project engineering and management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and President at Matrix Engineering Consultants, LLC since January 2018, Jon Ness has made significant contributions, including approval as an instructor for the Bolt Science© Bolted Joint Training Course and leading investigations into field failures of bolted joints. In addition, Jon Ness has held key leadership positions at RFA Engineering since May 1989, overseeing project execution and developing client and employee initiatives while advancing RFA’s Project Success Plan. As a Senior Partner and CEO of The RFA Group, INC since November 2015, Jon Ness continues to drive engineering excellence. Jon Ness earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Technical Communications from South Dakota State University between 1985 and 1989.
