Dan Lechleiter

Dan Lechleiter has a strong background in law, with experience at various law firms. Dan started their career at Baker & Daniels, where they worked as a Summer Associate in 2003 and 2004. Dan returned to the firm after graduating and worked as an Associate from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they gained experience in various legal matters. In 2012, they became a Partner at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, where they continued to work until 2020. Dan then joined Faegre Drinker as a Partner for a brief period before transitioning to their current role as Assistant General Counsel for M&A at Rogers Group Inc. Prior to their legal career, Dan worked as a Mechanical Engineer at YSI Inc., where they were involved in designing, testing, and implementing new products. Dan also had an engineering internship at Rolls-Royce, where they worked on gas turbine engines.

Dan Lechleiter completed their education in a chronological order. Dan first attended Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School from 1993 to 1997. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Later, from 2002 to 2005, Dan attended the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law.

In addition to their educational background, Dan Lechleiter has obtained several certifications. These certifications include a Tennessee Law License, which they received from the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee in December 2022. Dan also holds an MSHA Part 48 Underground Mine Training Certificate awarded by the Mine Safety and Health Administration in February 2022. Furthermore, Dan is a Registered Patent Attorney, having received the certification from the USPTO in February 2006. Lastly, they obtained an Indiana Law License from the Indiana Supreme Court in October 2005.
