Steven Apostolov

Steven Apostolov, Ph.D., is an experienced educator with a diverse background in sport management and French language instruction. Currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Sport Management at Mercy College, New York, since September 2015, Steven teaches courses such as Applied Research Analysis in Sport Management and Sport, Finance & Administration. In addition to academic roles, Steven has been instructing French at Newport Public Schools since September 2017, where responsibilities include teaching various levels of French and coordinating educational trips. Previous teaching positions include French instruction at Middletown High School, Smithfield High School, and roles related to political science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Tufts University. Steven holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sport history/management/French from Université Paris 8, completed in 2011.
