Steve Schofner Cissp

Steve Schofner CISSP, CISM, CEH, CHFI, CCSFP currently serves as the Executive Director of Cybersecurity at Rogers Behavioral Health since June 2023. Prior to this role, Steve worked at KPMG as a BISO from February 2022 to September 2023 and held the position of HIPAA Security and Privacy Officer at DXC Technology from August 2020 to March 2022, where responsibilities included compliance with HIPAA regulations and vulnerability management. Steve has also contributed as the Virtual Information Security Officer at DJSK COMPUTERS, overseeing risk management aligned with NIST and CIS standards. At The Ohio State University, Steve served as Manager of Information Systems, leading IT organizational change and strategic planning, and previously worked as a Systems Developer Engineer in the College of Dentistry and as a Systems Specialist in the Telecommunication and Network Center. Steve earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Chicago and continued education at The Ohio State University.
