Chris Patton has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Chris currently holds the position of Director of Virtual Design & Construction at Rogers-O'Brien Construction since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. for eight years, starting as VDC Manager in the Texas Region in July 2013, then being promoted to Senior VDC Manager and eventually becoming the Regional VDC Manager for the Southern region in September 2018, a position they held until August 2021. Before joining McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., they worked at Manhattan Construction Company as an Assistant Project Manager - BIM Manager from November 2011 to July 2012 and as an Integrated Project Delivery Coordinator in the International Division from March 2010 to November 2011. Additionally, Chris has experience working at Capricho Development Group as a Project Manager - Director of Architecture from September 2008 to September 2009, and at HKS, Inc. as a Design Architect in the Hospitality Design Group from April 2005 to September 2008.
Chris Patton received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of Kansas, where they studied architecture from 1998 to 2004. In 2011, they obtained a Construction Manager-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) certification from AGC of America.
