Later, Sarah worked as an Administrative Assistant at Texas Christian University, where they managed day-to-day activities and coordinated projects for the Religious & Spiritual Life department. Sarah also served as a Sound Technician, setting up and managing sound equipment for professional events and ceremonies.
Moving into the healthcare field, Sarah joined AMN Healthcare as a Credentialing Analyst, responsible for onboarding new hires and managing compliance requirements for traveling nurses and professionals. Sarah also coordinated responses to regulatory audits and worked with third-party vendors.
Sarah then transitioned to the Alliance Family of Companies, initially serving as an HR Coordinator and later becoming an HR Generalist. In both roles, they managed benefits administration, conducted open enrollment meetings, and assisted employees with benefit elections and changes. Additionally, they served as an HRIS Administrator, contributed to the growth of new hires and employees, and played a role in developing company policies and procedures.
Most recently, Sarah has been working at Rogers-O'Brien Construction, first as a Human Resources Manager and currently as a Senior Human Resources Manager. In these positions, they have developed and administered various HR plans and procedures, managed benefits programs company-wide, overseen the HRIS and performance management systems, and led recruitment efforts. Sarah has also been responsible for updating the compensation program, managing job postings, and responding to unemployment chargebacks.

Sarah has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in June 2022, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI in June 2022, the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in August 2015, and the PHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2015.
