Ravin Kohli

Ravin Kohli is a Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Rogon Technologies GmbH since August 2023, following a role as a Research Engineer at AutoML Freiburg where research focused on the impact of feature percentages and class imbalance on predictive model performance. Prior to that, Kohli served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Freiburg, co-developing Auto-PyTorch for automating hyper-parameter selection in deep learning. Experience includes developing a computer vision pipeline at cytena GmbH, creating RESTful APIs at CERN, and engaging in deep learning research at the University of Southampton. Kohli holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Freiburg and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
