Gururaj Daptardar

MEMS Process Engineer at Rogue Valley Microdevices

Gururaj Daptardar has a diverse work experience. Gururaj started their career as a Research Intern at M/S Ajapa Integrated Project Management Company Private Limited in 2015, where they gained knowledge in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry and worked with experienced petroleum engineers on various aspects of petroleum engineering.

In 2016, they joined R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore as an Undergraduate Researcher, where they conducted research studies on bioprocessing of aquatic biomass. Using their process improvement and optimization skills, they were able to achieve a yield of 3% (v/v) of ethanol.

Following that, in 2018, Gururaj worked as a Graduate Researcher at ASU Biodesign Institute. Gururaj worked on two projects related to the transfer characteristics of ammonia gas and pattern analysis on ammonia/ammonium utilization in microalgal cultivation for carbon/CO2 capture.

In 2020, Gururaj joined Think20 Labs as a Laboratory Technician III and later became an Analytical Chemist I. Gururaj gained experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory techniques.

Currently, Gururaj is working as a MEMS Process Engineer at Rogue Valley Microdevices, Inc. since 2021.

Overall, Gururaj's work experience showcases their expertise in various fields such as petroleum engineering, bioprocessing, analytical chemistry, and MEMS process engineering.

Gururaj Daptardar holds a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Trine University, which they obtained from 2022 to 2024. Gururaj also completed a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from RV College Of Engineering, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Gururaj has obtained several certifications. In January 2023, they completed Adult First Aid | CPR AED Adult Child training from HSI. In 2018, while studying at Arizona State University, they obtained certifications in Information Security Training, Workplace Behavior Training, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Laboratory Autoclave Training, Laboratory Compressed Gas under Pressure, Laboratory Fire Safety, Laboratory Hazardous Waste Management, Laboratory Safety, and Roof Access and Authorization. Furthermore, in August 2015, they received a Certificate of Recognition from Rtn. Dr. B. Jai Prakash for their role as the Director of Community Services of the Rotaract Club of R.V. College of Engineering.
