Andrei Barbu

Andrei Barbu has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Andrei is currently the Head of Product Test and Validation at Rohde & Schwarz Topex, a role they started in April 2022. Prior to this, Andrei worked as a Lead QA Engineer at Acronis from September 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Acronis, Andrei had a long tenure at Anritsu, where they held multiple roles. Andrei was a Test Manager from April 2019 to September 2021, a System Engineering and Test Manager from April 2011 to March 2019, and a System Integration and Test Engineer from October 2010 to April 2011.

Earlier in their career, Andrei worked at Telekom Romania as a Switching and Implementation Engineer from June 2006 to October 2010. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating network changes, analyzing network performance, and recommending solutions for expansions and optimizations.

Prior to Telekom Romania, Andrei worked at Vodafone as a NOC Engineer from June 2003 to June 2006, and at Telekom Romania (previously known as Romtelecom) as a NOC Engineer from October 2000 to June 2003.

Andrei Barbu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Andrei pursued their education at the university from 1995 to 2000.
