Alexander Orellano

Alexander Orellano currently serves as the Head of Division Technology Systems at Rohde & Schwarz, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Alexander Orellano was the Chief Operating Officer at thyssenkrupp Marine Systems from July 2018 to September 2023, where responsibilities included Engineering, R&T, Production, Multi Project Management, and Quality, and served as a member of the executive board. Prior experience spans over 17 years at BOMBARDIER, where roles included Technical Project Manager and Senior Director of Vehicle Engineering, overseeing high-speed train development and holding several patents. Earlier roles include Manager at DaimlerChrysler Rail Systems and Principal Researcher at Universität der Bundeswehr München. Alexander Orellano holds a Diplom in Aeronautics from the Technical University of Munich and a PhD in the same field from the Bundeswehr University Munich.
