Catalin Niculescu

Catalin Niculescu is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and management roles within the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director for both Rohde Schwarz Hellas and Rohde & Schwarz, Catalin is responsible for strategic development, performance management, and P&L oversight for operations in Romania. Previous roles include Associate Professor at the National Defence University "Carol I", and key positions at Romtelecom, Cisco, and the Romanian Ministry for IT&C, where strategic initiatives and sales management were pivotal. Catalin holds a Ph.D. in Economy, focusing on Management of Trade and Services, and has earned multiple degrees in engineering and management, reflecting a strong academic background.
