Sebastian Schmitz

Sebastian Schmitz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and over-the-air (OTA) customer projects, currently serving as the Director of EMC and OTA customer projects at Rohde & Schwarz since June 2015. Prior roles include Development Engineer and RF System Engineer at ETS-Lindgren, as well as earlier positions at Rohde & Schwarz, BlackBerry, novero, and Nokia, where responsibilities encompassed compliance testing, automation tool coding, protocol testing, and equipment maintenance. Sebastian holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Information Engineering with a focus on High-Frequency & Optic Systems from Ruhr University Bochum and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Communications Technology from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund.
