Werner Bauer

Werner Bauer possesses extensive experience in software engineering and management, with a career spanning over two decades at Avid since January 2004. Currently serving as VP of Software Engineering for Video & Media Solutions, as well as Managing Director roles in both Avid Nordic AB and Avid Technology GmbH, Werner has held various senior positions including Senior Director of Software Engineering and Director of Platform Engineering & Cloud Operations. Prior to Avid, experience includes leadership roles at NXN Software and Our World Live, along with technical consultancy at Mausik Systems. Education includes a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Augsburg and an Abitur in Mathematics and Physics from Dominikus-Zimmermann-Gymnasium Landsberg.
