Ivana Mažurana

Ivana Ma serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The HEART Venture, an organization dedicated to broadening research opportunities for students across diverse backgrounds. Currently pursuing education at Burlingame High School, Ivana also holds internship positions at the National Student Leadership Conference in the Biotechnology Program, Project Lux's UC Berkeley Chapter, and Polygence, where research on genetic mechanisms in lung cancer is conducted. As a committed volunteer, Ivana plays significant roles in NAMI and the American Red Cross, fostering mental health awareness and community service. Participation in the Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes further enhances Ivana's knowledge in Biomedical Engineering, while collaboration at Teens in Health involves writing articles and advocating for health-related issues.
