Chief Latam Economist at Rokos Capital Management

Christian Daude has worked in various roles in the field of economics, with a focus on macroeconomic research and analysis. Christian started their career as a Research Associate at CINVE in 1996 and later worked as a Research Associate at the Inter-American Development Bank from 2000 to 2002. In 2006, they were an Economist at the European Central Bank before joining the Inter-American Development Bank as a Research Economist from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2017, Christian worked at the OECD, where they held several positions including Senior Economist, Head of Americas Desk, and Head of the Macroeconomic Analysis Unit. During their time at the OECD, they conducted research on fiscal policy and macroeconomic trends in large emerging markets, managed a team of research economists, and held various leadership roles. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Director for Economic and Social Research at Corporacion Andina de Fomento. Since 2020, Christian has been working as the Chief Latam Economist at Rokos Capital Management. Christian also has experience working at the Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas in Uruguay as the Director of Macroeconomic and Financial Advisory from 2018 to 2019.
