Derek Hausknecht

Derek Hausknecht is currently the Senior Vice President of Facultative Reinsurance at Rokstone Underwriting since January 2024. Previously, he worked as an Independent Consultant at www.hausknecht.com from September 2022 to December 2023. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President - Natural Catastrophe Manager of The Americas at SCOR from May 2014 to August 2022. Derek also has experience as the Vice President - Exposure Management at Ascot Group from August 2009 to March 2014, and as a Senior Analyst in the ERM Group at CNA Insurance from October 2008 to August 2009. With a background in Catastrophe Modeling, Aggregation, and IT Management, he served as the Vice President at DirectFac from January 2004 to September 2008. Derek started his career as a Programmer Analyst at Baxter Healthcare from 1995 to 1997 after obtaining a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Elmhurst University.
