Chris Simmons is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Rokt since June 2023, Chris has previously held several key positions at Amazon from October 2012 to June 2023, including Senior Software Development Manager and Software Development Manager, contributing significantly to Amazon Alexa and Amazon Echo projects. Prior to Amazon, Chris worked as a contractor at SimX Solutions and was the Development Team Lead at Conversion Works Canada from January 2005 to July 2009. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
