Binh Phan

Binh Phan is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in developing applications and systems across various platforms. Currently, Binh works at Roku Inc. since May 2018, focusing on HTML5-based applications for browsers and TVs, along with developing a custom React reconciler and UI rendering engine. Previous roles include frontend engineering positions at Walmart Global eCommerce and Yahoo, where Binh utilized technologies such as Node, React, and various ad APIs. Expertise also encompasses senior software engineering at Sony Network Entertainment, where Binh developed apps for TV and Blu-ray players, and contributions to automation and software testing in earlier roles at Jive Software, ArgonST, and Lockheed Martin. Binh holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
