Doug Sjostrom

Doug Sjostrom is a seasoned professional in audio engineering and testing, currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Engineering Test for New Products Audio at Roku Inc. since June 2017. Sjostrom leads a diverse team focused on acoustics, DSP algorithms, and AI voice technologies for Roku's audio products, collaborating with third-party manufacturers for hardware testing. In addition, an independent sound designer, mixer, and AV integrator since 1998, Sjostrom has worked with prominent clients such as ABC, HBO, and Apple. Previous roles include Sr. Manager at RGB Spectrum, Live Sound Test Manager at Avid Technology, and a combination of post-production management and engineering positions at DIVA Systems. Sjostrom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Film from San José State University.
