Manoj Nimmagadda

Manoj Nimmagadda is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in search and recommendation systems, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Roku Inc. since September 2015. In this role, Manoj oversees a team of search engineers and machine learning scientists focused on enhancing the content discovery experience for millions of users on the Roku platform. Previously, Manoj held positions at Loggly as a Senior Software Engineer, where expertise in real-time search analytics was applied, and at Qualcomm as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of a cloud-based location service leveraging machine learning. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Verizon Business, contributing to the development of a social networking platform. Manoj holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
