Marcus Grande

System Architect - Audio Control & Processing

Marcus Grande has over two decades of experience in software engineering and system architecture, currently serving as a System Architect for Audio Control & Processing at Roku since July 2015. Grande has a strong background in embedded software development, focusing on audio subsystems and new streaming audio/video products. Prior to Roku, Grande worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Pace Americas, developing embedded Linux software for residential gateway devices, and held various positions at IBM, contributing significantly to converged network adapter technology, virtualization development, and training initiatives. Grande began a career in research engineering at institutions such as the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and the National Institutes of Health. Grande holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
