Rakesh Nair

Rakesh Nair is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer at Roku Inc. since July 2022, specializing in OS Extensions and Partner Apps, including the integration of AirPlay and HomeKit updates. Prior to Roku, Rakesh served as a Principal Technical Expert in Firmware at Schneider Electric from February 2014 to June 2022, where involvement spanned the full life cycle of embedded product development, including technical feasibility studies and performance modeling. Previously, Rakesh held the role of Principal Software Engineer at Invensys before its acquisition by Schneider Electric, contributing from January 2011 to January 2014. Rakesh began a career at Honeywell Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in various engineering capacities from February 2001 to November 2010, ultimately advancing to Principal Engineer. Rakesh holds a Master of Technology in Electrical Instrumentation and Control Systems from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, obtained between 1999 and 2001.
