Shyam Sankaran

Shyam Sankaran is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing platforms for managing Kubernetes clusters. Currently at Roku Inc. since June 2022, Shyam previously contributed to VMware and Pivotal Software, focusing on projects such as Tanzu and PKS, respectively. In these roles, Shyam has played a significant part in the Cluster API OSS project and maintained the cluster API provider for Azure. Earlier experience includes serving as an AVP Software Engineer at Barclaycard, where Shyam developed asynchronous microservices, and as an IT Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, specializing in full stack software development. Shyam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology, completed in 2011.
