Xiang Mao

Xiang (Max) Mao is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development and project leadership. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Roku Inc. since October 2021, Xiang previously held the same title at GoDaddy, where major contributions included transforming the legacy domain search interface to a React web app and enhancing user experience through extensive A/B testing. As a cofounder of Dinneract, Xiang played a pivotal role in creating a community-driven food shopping app. Xiang's diverse background includes positions at the University of Florida's IFAS Office of Information Technology, Joyfit, Alibaba Group, and STICKCORE, along with a strong educational foundation consisting of a PhD in Wireless Network Protocol from the University of Florida and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
