Summer Thorp-Lancaster is currently working as a School Nurse at Rolla Public Schools and as a Registered Nurse at Phelps Health. Previously, Summer owned and operated Summer Birth Services where Summer provided doula services and other support for clients. Summer has also held leadership positions such as Executive Director at WomanSpace Rolla and President of Friends of Missouri Midwives. Summer has a BSN in Nursing Science from Central Methodist University and an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing. In addition, Summer co-founded Rolla Birth Network where Summer facilitated various community events and support groups. Summer is dedicated to advocacy, education, and support within the healthcare and birth communities.
