Ian Lyons

Ian Lyons is an experienced Network Architect currently employed at Rollins College since November 2015, where responsibilities include designing and administering network systems across 87 buildings, managing a $900,000 annual capital budget, and leading network development strategies. Prior roles include Senior Network Engineer and Network Engineer at Rollins College, as well as Manager of Network Services at Rhode Island School of Design, where network uptime was significantly improved. Ian's career spans over two decades, with previous positions at Bank Rhode Island, Fidelity Investments, and Entex Information Services, contributing to a strong foundation in network management and technology deployment. Ian holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island and studied at Universität Salzburg.
