Dr Ruth Hartley

Dr. Ruth Hartley is a Culture and Wellbeing Specialist at Rolls-Royce SMR, where responsibilities include enhancing organisational culture, nuclear safety culture, and wellbeing since June 2022. Previous positions include Health and Wellbeing Manager at Galliford Try and Group Health and Wellbeing Manager at nmcn plc, where Dr. Hartley contributed to the COVID-19 response and improved health and safety culture. With extensive experience in academia, Dr. Hartley has served as a Lecturer and Research Associate at Loughborough University and has held various research roles focusing on occupational psychology and organisational behaviour. Dr. Hartley holds a PhD in Safety Culture and Climate from Loughborough Business School, an MSc in Work Psychology and Business from Aston Business School, and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Huddersfield.
