Ecem Altuner

Ecem Altuner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ecem is currently serving as the Head of Strategy at Rolls-Royce SMR since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Rolls-Royce from 2014 to 2021, where they held various roles including Business Development Manager for Small Modular Reactors and Projects Coordinator & Regional Office Manager.

Before their time at Rolls-Royce, Ecem worked as a Freelance Consultant at Sabanci Vakfi from 2013 to 2015. Ecem also gained experience as a Junior Consultant at both Advancy and HEC Junior Conseil in 2013.

In 2012, Ecem worked as an Intern at DEA YAPI İnşaat ve Taahhüt A.Ş., where they assisted with constructing industrial structures for international companies.

Ecem started their professional career in 2011 as a Marketing intern at Symantec and later worked in Medical Marketing at L'Oréal in 2010.

In the same year, they also worked in Strategy & Market Research at Nheolis, a start-up specializing in manufacturing and marketing small wind turbines.

In 2009, they gained experience as a trainee at Mango, where they conducted market research and worked in the purchasing department.

Overall, Ecem Altuner has a strong background in business development, strategy, and consulting, with experience in various industries including energy, technology, and fashion.

Ecem Altuner's education history is as follows:

- From 2012 to 2013, Ecem Altuner attended HEC Paris and obtained a Grande Ecole, MSc degree in Strategic Management (Double Degree) Business Track.

- In the same period, from 2011 to 2013, Ecem Altuner also pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Management at Università Bocconi.

- Ecem Altuner completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Sabanci University, studying from 2007 to 2011.

- During the year 2010, Ecem Altuner pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.

- In 2008, Ecem Altuner participated in a Summer School program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a focus on MANAGEMENT.

- Prior to higher education, from 2002 to 2007, Ecem Altuner attended Istanbul Özel Saint-Joseph Fransız Lisesi / Lycée Français Privé Saint-Joseph d'Istanbul, where they completed their high school studies in Science-Math.

In addition to their formal education, Ecem Altuner has also obtained additional certifications. They attended a VVER Technology Workshop at the National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" in 2021. In 2019, Ecem Altuner obtained certifications in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google and The World Nuclear Industry Today from the World Nuclear University.
